How we collect, use, store, and protect your information.

What we collect

Account data: your email address, an encrypted password, and your display name — used to create your account and sign you in.

Profile data, all optional: username, bio, profile picture, age, weight, height, and sex. These are used to calculate your nutrition targets and, if you publish recipes, to show your public profile.

Tracking data: the meals, calories, macronutrients, workouts, supplements, water, and weight entries you record, so the app can show your history and progress.

Usage counts: the number of AI analyses you run each day, used solely to enforce the free-tier limit.

Safety data: any report you send about another person's content, and any user you block. Reports are kept with your account id so repeated abuse can be recognised — the person you report is never told who reported them.

Food photos

When you analyse a photo, the image is resized on your device and sent to Anthropic for analysis. We do not keep the image after the analysis returns — only the nutrition figures you accept and save.

Do not photograph anything you would not want processed by a third party. Analyse the food, not the room.

Payment data

Subscriptions are handled by Apple through a subscription management provider. We never see, receive, or store your card details.

What is public and what is not

Everything you record is private to your account by default. Our database enforces this at the row level, so one account cannot read another's data.

The only things that become public are what you explicitly publish: recipes and shared foods, along with the username, display name, and picture attached to them.

Who processes your data

We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

Data passes through technical providers only: Supabase (database and authentication), Anthropic (AI food analysis), and Apple with a subscription management provider.

Deleting your account

You can permanently delete your account from Profile. This erases your data from our servers, including anything you published.

Deletion cannot be undone and we cannot restore an account afterwards. If you want a published recipe to outlive your account, it will not — deleting removes it too.

Security

Data travels over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to the database is governed by row-level policies that scope every read and write to the account that owns the data.

No system is perfectly secure. Use a password you do not reuse elsewhere.
