Terms & Conditions
The agreement that governs your use of Kalorie.

What Kalorie is
Kalorie is a nutrition and fitness tracking app. It records what you eat and do, estimates calories and macronutrients, and shows your progress over time.
It is an informational tool. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. See the Medical Disclaimer for the limits that matter most.
Your account
You need an account to use the app. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done through your account.
The information you enter about yourself — age, weight, height, sex, activity level — is what every goal in the app is calculated from. Inaccurate entries produce inaccurate targets.
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, use the app only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Recipes you publish
Recipes are private by default. Publishing one is a separate, explicit choice.
When you publish a recipe, your username, display name, profile picture, and the recipe itself become visible to every user of the app. You can unpublish at any time, which removes it from public view going forward.
You keep ownership of what you write. By publishing, you grant us permission to display and store it inside the app for as long as it stays published.
Do not publish content that is misleading about nutrition, offensive, unlawful, or that you do not have the right to share. We may remove published content that breaks this rule.
Foods added to the shared library
Foods you choose to share become part of a library other users can search. The first person to publish a given food owns that entry; later contributors add alternative names to it rather than creating a duplicate.
Nutrition figures in the shared library are contributed by users and by AI analysis. They are not verified by a laboratory or by us.
Subscriptions
The free tier includes a limited number of AI analyses per month. A subscription raises that limit.
Purchases made inside the app are processed by Apple. Billing, renewal, and cancellation are managed in your Apple account settings, not by us — we cannot cancel or refund an Apple subscription on your behalf.
Prices are shown inclusive of applicable tax.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other users' data, interfere with the service, or use automated means to extract data from it.
Do not use the app to give nutrition or medical advice to others as if it were professional advice.
Reporting and moderation
Anything published — a recipe, a food, a profile — can be reported by anyone using the app, and you can block another user so that neither of you sees the other's public content.
We keep reports, including who sent them, so that repeated abuse can be recognised. A reported person is never told who reported them.
A published food that draws a large number of reports is hidden automatically pending review. Hiding is not deletion: the item returns to its owner's private library and can be published again. Recipes and profiles are never hidden automatically — a person reviews them.
Where a username or a profile description breaks these terms, we may change or clear it, and may permanently prevent that username from being used again by anyone.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Profile. Deletion is permanent and removes your data from our servers.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
Changes and liability
Features may change as the app develops. If we make a material change to these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.
The app is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for health outcomes, decisions taken on the basis of its estimates, or losses arising from unavailability of the service.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
